Most of the attacks were phishing emails to lure the company’s staff into clicking on a continuously sent malicious link through emails that would download malware onto their devices. At that time, over 2000 passwords were circulated across the internet for the cybercrime the company had never committed but had encountered.

The hackers leaked a fake public notice by impersonating the company and urged the public to donate to a fictitious response fund over the real COVID – 19 response fund.
